We are seeking a skilled parts associate to join our team. This role is responsible for providing customer service and parts sales assistance. Acts as the primary interface with retail customers as well as service & manufacturing employees to obtain the required parts.

Responsibilities

• • Retrieves (pulls) purchased parts from inventory or if the requested parts are not in inventory determines source and availability and communicates to purchasing to order the parts.
  • Keeps accurate records of special order parts
  • Takes phone orders, providing price quotes and other information to customers 
  • Processes orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up at counter
  • Verifies “will call” and “back-order” files weekly, vendors returns, or re-stocks items
  • Assists service & manufacturing employees in selecting parts needed for work in process
  • Submits requisitions to purchasing for parts not in stock for required repairs
  • Follows up on special ordered items and promptly notifies customers when received
  • Ensures all cash, credit, charge, purchase order, invoice and tax exempt sales are processed in accordance with company policies
  • Displays parts attractively to generate sales
  • Maintains inventory on shelves and in bins by reporting items needing to be reordered, identifying any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold items to stock
  • Advises Parts Manager of inventory discrepancies and if areas of the department are not in good condition
  • Assists in inventory control to achieve maximum turnover in accordance with established goals 
  • Monitors and makes recommendation on how to adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence of parts 
  • Conducts inventory control activities and audits as directed by Supervisors

Skills

• Familiarity with farm equipment including engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel systems.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer proficiency 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate via face-to-face, phone, or by other means of communication
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions 
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and practices
• Ability to interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership and organization 

Requirements and Qualifications

• College Associates degree preferred not required
• Prior experience preferred
• Physically able to stand and lift necessary parts
• Proficient computer skills
• Must have good communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Team player – must be able to communicate and work well with coworkers

Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience. Need to be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment in the shop and possibly in the field via mobile service truck especially during harvest season.

Responsibilities

• • Troubleshoot and evaluate equipment including electrical systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems and engines.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues with diagnostic tools and schematics to determine necessary repairs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tractors and agricultural equipment, rebuilding or replacing components as needed.
  • Perform fabrication tasks as needed for custom repairs or modifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts and repair activities for all serviced equipment.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in heavy lifting and tire service as required during maintenance operations.
• Communicate efficiently with supervisor and sometimes customers as necessary.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in diesel engine repair, and farm equipment repair.
• Familiarity with engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical systems, fuel systems.
• Experience with heavy equipment and understanding OEM specifications.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Capable of performing welding tasks and soldering as needed for repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
