We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team at our Benzonia location. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex machinery and industrial equipment with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each product meets quality standards and safety regulations, contributing to the seamless production of innovative solutions. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes
- Making and installing custom hydraulic hoses
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment with accuracy
- Wiring custom controls and installation of electrical components
- Installing hydraulic components, engines, gearboxes etc.
- Set pressures, make adjustments during start ups
- Perform routine inspections of assembled equipment using schematics and electrical diagrams to verify functionality and safety
Experience using the following is preferred:
- Overhead crane
- Forklifts
- Data logging equipment
- General shop equipment
- Hand tools
- Power tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment assembly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
